One of two drawings Maggi Hambling made of Oscar Wilde with her eyes shut.
While submitting ideas on paper to make a memorial statue of Wilde a reality Maggi Hambling became obsessed with Wilde again. Having delivered her maquette, she went on drawing him, painting him, making more sculpture of him.
